Visit of Belgium's ambassador and delegates and stakeholders in the field of water and sanitatio

The Earlier today, delegates and stakeholders in the field of water and sanitation gathered in CAMWATER’s Yaoundé Corporate Office to ascertain the impact of FINEXPO funding in Cameroon.
Received by the Camwater Officiel team, led by Mr. Gervais Bolenga (Director General, CAMWATER), His Excellency, Stéphane Doppagne (Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to Cameroon) thanked the CAMWATER DG for the warm welcome before going on to introduce the delegates from FINEXPO and ASPAC International. He described the visit as an avenue to access the impact of foreign funding in the Cameroonian Drinking Water Sector.
In a presentation prepared by ASPAC, Alexandre De Witte (ASPAC Coordinator, West & Central Africa) reeled out a list of projects to have successfully being realised courtesy the combined efforts of ASPAC International, #FINEXPO, #Credendo & the Cameroon Water Utilities Corporation.
The projects that have spanned across the past 10 years accounts for the construction, rehabilitation and extension projects of drinking water supply systems across 57 centres, 500km of water network pipe connections, 125.000m3 daily water supply and positive impact of over 2million Cameroonian residents’ health and sanitation levels so far.
The assessment would also involve a week-long visit to sites amongst other meetings.
