Appointment of a new General Manager at CAMWATER
Appointed General Manager of CAMWATER at the end of an extraordinary session of the Board meeting held on November 10, 2017, GERVAIS BOLENGA was installed by the Minister of Water Resources and Energy.
The personnel of CAMWATER were present during the installation ceremony of the new General Manager. They came in number to welcome with great joy, Mr Gervais Bolenga. He was appointed on that same day by the Board of Directors which met in an extraordinary session, and immediately was installed in his post by the Minister of Water Resources and Energy.
Dr atangana kouna, in his speech, gave many instructions to the General Manager. Among his missions we can cite: the preparation of the absorption phase of la Camerounaise des Eaux whose lease agreement was not renewed. The new general manager will have to give impetus to a new dynamic, polish the image of the company, find solutions to problems related to drinking water supply and maintain a good social environment within the company and a good collaboration with sponsors, other partners and ministerial departments, complete ongoing projects and lead the sector to moral and financial equilibrium..
Gervais Bolenga, the 45-years-old graduate of the National School of Administration and Magistracy (NSAM), batch 1998, is a native of Moloundou (East Region). Before his appointment at the head of CAMWATER, he worked as Research Officer at the Prime Minister’s Office and later as Ministerial Councils’ Secretary at the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Republic.
